Yes i have mangy wormy dogs. Makes me feel like a real good-like type pet owner, let me tell you.
GARDEN update:
we have onions, garlic, and romaine lettuce already up. no kidding. peony’s, climbing rose, and honeysuckle that kelly almost ruined - already up.
woo hoo.
Oh and if i hear anything else about reverand wright I think i may have to punch someone.
oh and Hillary, no, you dont make me feel like you are “one of us” or that you “understand middle america.” I scoff at the idea. Now, if you can somehow get the obam man out of the way I will vote for you - dont’ get me wrong - but your back and forth kiss ass rhetoric is enough to make me puke.

So’s Parker came to take some pictures for the cd this weekend (doesn’t he look great in these galoshes?)
thats all great and dandy until the fact is realized that I have to go get him on friday and take him home on Sunday. Iowa City is also great and dandy and all but if you just want to spend some time at the local saloon and see your grandma and your grandpa this weekend, well think again -because you are getting Iowa city driving butt sores instead.
So we got some good pictures. Its really hard to describe how much exactly like a corndog you feel when taking said pictures. I mean I am one of the most UNphotogenic people i know, let along when i am trying to act “cool”.
Show at the bowling alley on Saturday ended up being a riot, i am really glad we ended up doing that.
Sunday was more uncool pictures and then of course back to iowa city for more endless driving. But, when i got home, you will not believe what had happened. I mean, i couldn’t believe it myself. Kelly had baked. And, no i don’t mean Kelly WAS baked, i mean he HAD baked. buscuits in fact, and you know what, they were better than mine. He didn’t use bisquick, no kidding.

Did you know that pain medication for your dog when its spayed is an option? An eight dollar option. I guess thats one way to see if they really love you or not. Here Sweet pea, please deal with the pain of a fresh incision in your abdomen with no pain killer and come let me pet you.

we celebrated Anne and Brenda’s birthday on Saturday. It was scrumptious. I did better than expecteded at the bean bag football game, and i didn’t puke, a feat within itself.
I especially like this picture because you can see all 3 of my chins…
this one is only two so a little dissappointing but it is all about the love……
