So yesterday was a quite exciting day in the garden, my first harvest.
If you have your first harvest I would remember the following points.
A. if you are by yourself there is no need to cut up and fry your entire first zuchini because, well you are just going to waste it, and then feel guilty to throw it away- whilst becoming angry at the flies who are the only ones left with any belly to try to finish those delicious golden rounds you toiled to make.
B. attempting to “fry” your first zuchini on the George Forman is not a good idea, not a good idea at all.
C. if you overcook both your first green beans and your first peas it could be a traumatic experience so pay attention to what in the heck your are doing for heaven’s sake please just pay attention.

I am NOT fat, I am just big boned
So happy 4th of july to one all. The Perry show was very fun, they have a spamtacular stage there and we got to use a huge PA. What fun it is to sing and dance up on a high stage like that one. and yes folks, its true, i got to see some fireworks. YEE HAW. I was pity partying myself on Tuesday night because I thought I had missed them all and then the next day I get to see a bunch, as it got dark I could see some from the stage on all sides, it was GGRRRRRREAT. Like Tony the Tiger great. I am so glad we did that show.
***and on a special note, we found homes for all of the puppies that needed them and should be down to our own little herd by sunday. yippee for less puppy chow bill. yippee indeed.
